MUMPO Approves Augustalee Transportation Plans

The Mecklenburg-Union Metropolitan Planning Organization (MUMPO) voted Wednesday night (April 29) to add the six transportation improvements for the Augustalee development into their thoroughfare plan as well as their Metrolina Transportation Improvement Plan (MTIP).

Village at Lake Norman Planners Announce
I-77 Widening Plans, New Website

CORNELIUS, NC – A development team working on the Village at Lake Norman unveiled plans to widen I-77 from two lanes in each direction to three, from south of Exit 23 in Huntersville to Exit 28 in Cornelius, in addition to a new Exit 27 interchange at I-77 and Westmoreland Road.
